Holiday Booking Terms and Conditions

Please note

By making a booking and paying your deposit, you agree to abide by and comply with our Terms & Conditions

Payment of Accommodation

Payment is to be made in full two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of your booking with the exception of December/January bookings when the balance is due no later than 1st November in that booking year. A $200 deposit is payable to secure a booking and is payable within 7 days of making a reservation. Please note for bookings made within 30 days of the check in/arrival date FULL payment is required upon booking. If payment is not made by the required dates your reservation will be cancelled.

Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation ALL bookings will incur a $50 administration fee. For cancellations within 3 months of check in date ALL bookings will incur full loss of the $200 deposit. For cancellations within 2 weeks of check in date FULL ACCOMMODATION PAYMENT applies. For cancellations of any Christmas/New Year Bookings made after 1st November FULL ACCOMMODATION PAYMENT applies.

Cheque, Direct Deposit, EFTPOS & Credit Card (1% surcharge applies to all credit card payments)

Security Bond

Credit card details are required at the time of booking for security purposes and a pre-authorised bond of $200 will be held on your credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) The credit card must be presented at the time of check in. Under extreme circumstances & only with prior holiday manager approval we can take a $200 cash bond.

Cleaning & Damages

Please ensure the property is left in the same condition as you found it. Any extra charges incurred by cleaners will be automatically taken out of your security bond. As the tenant you are responsible for all damages & breakages during your occupancy, these are to be reported or replaced and paid for prior to vacating or costs will be deducted from your security bond.

Office Hours

Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00p.m. Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. We are closed Sundays and Public Holidays. Please advise if you are arriving outside office hours we will provide our safe code details.

Check In

1:00 pm during low season. 2:00pm for holiday season

Check Out

9:00am on the day of departure. (If departing out of office hours, drop keys through slot in office front door)

Linen

Linen is NOT included in Tariff. Hiring arrangements can be made through our office & payment is required upon booking. The exception to this is Burleigh Surf, Gough House 8, Elders, Gough House 5, Goodwin 16 bookings.

Key Collection

Collect from our office: 14 The Esplanade Burleigh Heads QLD 4220 .

2ND SET OF KEYS: Available Upon Request. Guests are responsible for all keys and remotes. Lost/damaged keys will result in charges.

A $50 call out fee will be charged if you lock your keys in the unit AFTER HOURS

After Hours Arrival

Please advise our office if you are arriving outside of office hours and we will provide you with details for our after-hours/night safe for key collection. Balance of accommodation must be paid in full prior to safe code details be given.

Pets

Under no circumstances are animals allowed on or inside the premises except for our pet friendly specific properties.

Smoking

No smoking inside the property, ash trays are provided on the balconies of units that cater for smokers with the door closed. A $150 cleaning charge will apply if you smoke inside the property.

Personal Property or Vehicles

No responsibility is taken for personal property or vehicles left on the premises. Please lock your vehicle and ensure you keep valuables secure. If the agent is required to collect or return items left at a property by a guest an administration fee of $20 will apply plus postage costs.

Circumstances Beyond Control

We cannot be held responsible for actions taken by the owner of the property outside our control that may result in cancellation of bookings, or moving to alternative properties. The guest acknowledges that any construction/building work being carried out in or near the holiday property is beyond control of the agent/owner and neither will accept responsibility for any disturbance, noise or inconvenience guests may suffer as result. The agent/owner will ensure the accommodation is in a good clean condition at the commencement of its occupation by the guest and no refunds or relocations will be given  should the guest find the property not to his/her personal liking. The agent will endeavour to find alternative accommodation if the property is sold or withdrawn from the holiday letting pool.

Noise

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. Immediate termination of your booking without refund may result. Please ensure the noise level throughout your stay is maintained to an acceptable level.

Property Description

The description of the premises is made in good faith but no responsibility for misunderstanding of a description can be accepted.

Guest Capacity

The number of occupants shall not exceed the number of beds provided or the number of guests agreed to at the time of booking. Minors under 18 years old are not permitted to stay unless accompanied by a parent or adult stated on the booking, failure to comply will result in the termination of the holiday let.

Mail

We request that any mail be re-directed to our office. C/- PRD, PO Box 445 Burleigh Heads QLD 4220 . No mail is to be sent to our holiday properties as we don’t have access to the letterboxes.
